promis-e is software for design and documentation of electrical control systems. Tools are provided for quick schematic generation with symbol libraries, macros and cut & paste editing. Many automatic functions such as ID assignment, cross referencing and wire numbering are also provided. A navigator function allows the user to jump from page to page by clicking on related ID's or cross reference.The built-in parts database is tied to the schematic, allowing automatic generation of bills of material, panel layouts, wire lists, terminal plans and more. All drawing, symbol and listing formats can be customised by the user. Symbol libraries available for IEC, JIC, process control, hydraulic and pnuematic applications. AutoCAD-compatible and standalone (OEM) versions available.
